True, but Norway isn't in the EU, so you'll compete with the UK people :D

I'm Canadian and i've applied to Bristol, Liverpool and Birmingham for medicine. I've just gotten confirmation letters that they've received my application...i'm assuming it's a long wait from here.

Anyone hear anything else yet??

I've received one form Bristol, but I'm applying through this organization, which means i could only apply at Bristol, Manchester, Aberdeen and Queen Mary.. I guess we're competing for Bristol then!

Where in Canada are you from? I have some family in BC, so I spent some time there during my spring break in March.

Cool cool! I spent a year in Washington as an exchange student, so I was pretty close to the border. I unfortunatly only got to see the BC parts though, but I really liked it there.

Yeah, I'll be crossing my fingers for us! It's like that Douglas Adams quote; "He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife." I guess we need to be in the top 70 out of 500ish to get an interview, so.. that shouldn't be totally impossible?

I'm applying though across the pond, www.studyacrossthepond.com. They mostly just help you with applications, loans and scolarships and stuff.. I'm hoping that they have some secret pacts with the different schools though.. we'll see ;)

RE: sbukhair1

yup, since I applied as an individual, I entered my own marks and gave my high school as a reference if the universities want to confirm it.

Soon, I will be sending in my most recent updated marks.

RE: sbukhair1

I only submitted my high school marks and my marks from my Associates Degree --> no university marks since I am not applying as a graduate. My reference however was from University...

Did you submit all your marks?

how did u submit ur highschool marks coz when i called the UCAS pple they said that the medical schools will be asking for my transcripts later. And i even contacted the med schools and they said that they'll ask me for my transcripts if they need it.  All i wrote down was my avg in highschools. I'm also applying as an individual.
