Haven't a clue, although I think I might have read on the form that it was at least 2 weeks before the start of term. I wouldn't worry too much at this point, we do still have over a month... Saying that though, I really want to know where I've got in. I put Vanbrugh as my first choice (praying for an en suite!), what's everybody else gone for?

I was kind of worried that I'd sent my application away late (although late to me was not sending it the same day i got the letter!!) but apparently they don't sort on a first come first served basis, it's based on interests and courses etc. I chose vanbrugh too (also praying for en suite!) just because it's home to Language and Linguistics and I didn't want far to go in the mornings for lectures!!

Hey, that's my department too but there are no lectures in the department building, only the odd seminar every now and again. If you want en-suite Vanbrugh you'll still be a 10 minute walk from lecture halls there anyway. Most of my linguistics lectures were in Alcuin last year, and unless you live there, it's miles from any other college!

Oh no, so my clever plan to simply roll out of bed 10 mins before my lectures won't work!! Hopefully it'll encourage me to drink one pint less the night before to make up the extra 10 mins earlier i'll be getting up!!

I went for James college as it is right next to my department and it is right next to the sports facilities!!!

hey guys, im really glad im not the only one who hasnt heard anything yet. for the past days,i have been frantically checking my emails a couple of times a day. xD
i went for alcuin as my first choice, it just really appealed to me from everything i read about it. i really hope i get in.

i put alcuin first then vanburgh. Hope i get ensuite too!! haha maybe we'll get the offers by end of september then?? not liking this long wait anymore, esp now everyone else has gone to uni!!

I got my accomodation through today! i got Alcuin! Saturday move in! i think if you check your basic details on e-vision it will tell you which college your in

I still havent got mine and ive been on the e-vision thing and theres nought there eitha! Tried ringing but its just engaged all the time and ive emailed bt no reply...its sooo annoyin!x

The same is happening to my friend and they keep saying he will get it soon. I got Alcuin which was my second choice and when my friend phoned they told him he would proberly get his first choice which is Vanbrugh. I don't understand how they give accomodation cos we are on exactly the same course and made the same choices for accomodation
